Who's that behind those Foster Grants?

You may be too young to remember that commercial.  The last person I remember saying
"who's that behind those Foster Grants?" is Sophia Loren.

You gotta love a man in a mustache (not to mention the big bushy eyebrows)

Lot's of golf and football around her this weekend,
so I really got a lot of sewing done.

When is the last time you had a pencil case?
People must use them since there are patterns for them.

I really hated cutting into this typewriter fabric.  I have
two different colors.  I was going to use
it to make covered journals, but now I'm thinking Ipad
covers.  I can't believe I left that piece of lint on it.

OK,
so I decided to move out of pencil case mode and
into gift/toy bag mode.

The lighting wasn't very good for any of this photos.

Below is the post photo session  photo.

There is never anything on the table you can eat.
Really, my kitchen table (and whole house) pretty much looks like this all the time, just
different stuff on different days.

"I'll have the wristlet, please"

I'm sure you will hear people saying that
over and over at my show.

And when you see this, you'll say it, too.

tadaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!

OK,
time to give the elephants a rest.  I just
wanted to see if I could make this.

Being the first try, it was pretty labor intensive.

I vowed I would not print out the pattern
(I bought new ink yesterday, and really need
to conserve)
so I set up my laptop by my sewing machine
and scrolled then sewed, scrolled then ironed, scrolled then cut.

Now, I'm gonna take
it for a trial run at the
Walmart.

I'm drinkin the craft show Koolaid

One of my favorite bloggers wrote several posts
about getting ready to do her first craft show.

I swore I'd never do another craft show
but the lure of breaking even was too
strong to resist.

I'm just going to offer everything I have made
for sale, and I'm making some new items.

Drum roll, please!!
My new business card, designed by me.
It will double as a price tag and
will be attached to the item by sewing
a strip of fabric to the top.
Not an original idea, but a great one.

I''m pretty happy with they way
they turned, but if I ever make any money,
I'd like to have a color other than white. and will put my
blog address on it.

I'm still trying  to use up the

elephant fabric.  Hope I can get more if
I need it.  ]

The 241 bag.

I'm gonna ask a lot for these pillows,
because I adore them!!!!!

They are identical  The back is facing on
the one of the left, and the front is facing
on the one on the right.
Believe it, or not, the
zip is hidden under the print piece running
across the back.

I have to admit, I'm impressed with myself.

 So is Barney.

OK, one more.

This little bag is made from fabric I won.

I think I will change the tie, but is does look better  in person.

Well, that's the craft show round up for today.
I do have several other things I'm working
on so, save up your money and make
me rich.
